Approval Flow Management, Beta
2017 • Adobe • Experience Designer

As an admin user, I can set up an automated content approval workflow so that the content is pushed to the public after the approvals.

Project Scope

As a part of building a new core content management system, we planned to include an approval flow management feature.

Targeted User

As a team user who should create marketing content to promote products and services, the users could manage contents, create workflows within the team. This product is for collaboration which requires a large scale of team and marketing strategy.

My Role

My UX design contribution to this project was to provide experience and interface design for approval flow management, tag management, sharing architecture, and importing workflows. I have closely collaborated with the lead designer who created the Content Library framework.

Throughout the project, I was working with 2 product managers for 2 features. I teamed up with 2 engineers to discuss nailed ideas with technical capabilities and to refine the experience to be implemented properly.

Comprehensive Goal & Motivation

This initiative started with an issue that there is yet no centralized place to manage contents across all Adobe enterprise apps since many of our users are working with multiple apps across.
The approval management feature is an important part of content management.
